I split my time between writing books and magazines articles, running a small business making and selling Garden Grow Kits and other gardening paraphanalia and illustrating my work with photographs and illustrations. You can see a small selection of my work here.

My shop, The English Spice Garden, began with the idea that we so often neglect to grow plants that really pack a punch and I wanted to introduce the idea that we can all grow so many more really flavourful plants that we usually only see in the spice section of supermarket shelves. The English Spice Garden though is more than just growing spices. It is an introduction into growing and using all sorts of delicious flavours and beautiful plants.
